Place the hose around the base of plants where the slow dripping can deliver water directly to the roots. The maximum recommended length is 50' for consistent watering the entire length of the hose. 2. We suggest that you monitor the hose during the first few uses and adjust flow rate and hose position accordingly. Our soaker hoses are made of advanced vinyl construction delivering softness and flexibility. Available in 25', 50’, 75' and 100’ lengths. Proper Soaker Hose Use: 1. For easier handling, uncoil hose and allow it to sit in the sun for 10 minutes. 2. Before using your hose, place the washer firmly inside the coupling. 3. Best hose performance when used at low pressure. 4. Adjust water flow to a slow drip. 5. Place hose above ground or below ground covering hose mulch. ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Flower Gardening (21)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/flower-gardening) - [Lawncare (15)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/lawncare) - [Landscaping (13)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/landscaping) - [Water Gardening (9)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/water-gardening) - [Home Care (7)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/home-care) - [House Plants (5)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/house-plants) - [Events (3)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/events) - [Container Gardening (2)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/container-gardening) - [kids (1)](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/topic/kids) [see all](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog/use-a-soaker-hose-for-efficient-watering-of-plants#) ![ask the experts](https://www.apexhose.com/hs-fs/file-1585684937-png/images/layout/icons/expert.png "ask the experts") ### Ask The Water Hose Expert [![ASK A QUESTION](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/367344/2561c551-b4d4-4f21-80f0-b620aafa69c1.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/367344/2561c551-b4d4-4f21-80f0-b620aafa69c1) [Commercial](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial-water-hose) [Residential](https://www.apexhose.com/high-quality-garden-hose) [RV/Marine](https://www.apexhose.com/rv-marine-water-hose) [Brands](https://www.apexhose.com/teknor-apex-hoses) [Resources](https://www.apexhose.com/resources/videos) [Support](https://www.apexhose.com/support) - [Commercial](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial-water-hose) - [All Products](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial-water-hose) - [Professional Landscaping](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial-category/landscape-hoses) - [Farm & Ranch](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial/farm-ranch-water-hoses) - [Industrial & Construction](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial/industrial-construction-water-hose) - [Commercial Boating](https://www.apexhose.com/commercial/boating-water-hoses) - [Food & Services](https://www.apexhose.com/food-services-hoses) - [Residential](https://www.apexhose.com/high-quality-garden-hose) - [All Products](https://www.apexhose.com/high-quality-garden-hose) - [Home & Garden](https://www.apexhose.com/garden-hoses) - [Soil Soaker & Sprinkler](https://www.apexhose.com/residential/soil-soaker-sprinkler-hoses) - [RV/Marine](https://www.apexhose.com/rv-marine-water-hose) - [All Products](https://www.apexhose.com/rv-marine-water-hose) - [Brands](https://www.apexhose.com/teknor-apex-hoses) - [All Products](https://www.apexhose.com/teknor-apex-hoses) - [zero-G NXT](https://www.apexhose.com/zero-g-nxt) - [zero-G](https://www.apexhose.com/lightweight-hose-zero-g/) - [Neverkink](https://www.apexhose.com/brands/self-straightening-hoses) - [Nexflex](https://www.apexhose.com/nexflex) - [Apex Pro](https://www.apexhose.com/brands-category/apex-pro-hoses) - [Apex](https://www.apexhose.com/brands-category/apex-hoses) - [Resources](https://www.apexhose.com/resources/videos) - [Blog](https://www.apexhose.com/water-distribution-blog) - [Videos](https://www.apexhose.com/resources/videos) - [Ad Publications](https://www.apexhose.com/resources/ad-publications) - [Product Guides](https://www.apexhose.com/resources/productguides) - [Patents](https://www.apexhose.com/patents) [.](https://www.apexhose.com/articles) - [Support](https://www.apexhose.com/support) - [Contact Us](https://www.apexhose.com/support/contact) - [Hose Help Center](https://help.apexhose.com/en) - [Warranty](https://www.apexhose.com/support/warranty) - [Privacy Statement](https://www.apexhose.com/support/privacy-policy) - [Terms & Conditions](https://www.apexhose.com/terms-conditions) [![Teknor Apex Logo](https://www.apexhose.com/hubfs/Apexhose-Website/Vector-Smart-Object-copy-8.png)](http://www.teknorapex.com/) Copyright © Teknor Apex Company Teknor Apex Company[800-556-3864 ](tel:%20800-556-3864) Stay Connected with Apex - [** ](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuQHIbmmHC5CYwSUlQHsexA) - [** ](https://www.facebook.com/teknorapexconsumer/) Teknor Apex Consumer Products 505 Central Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02861 800-289-6786
